Welcome to Raad POS! By downloading, accessing, or using the Raad POS mobile application or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms").

Raad POS is a product owned and operated by Raad POS Technologies, based in Mogadishu, Somalia.
Description of Service
Raad POS is a comprehensive Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management system designed specifically for small to medium-sized businesses (B2B).
Track sales and transactions in real-time
Manage inventory and product catalogs
Calculate profit and loss statements
Manage customer debts and credits
Work seamlessly both online and offline
Generate detailed business reports and analytics
The Service is provided via a mobile application that works both online and offline, ensuring your business operations continue uninterrupted regardless of internet connectivity.
Account Registration
To use Raad POS, you must register for an account. By creating an account, you agree to:
Your Obligations
Provide accurate, current, and complete business information during registration
Maintain the security of your password and login credentials
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Take responsibility for actions taken by your staff and employees using your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
Security Notice: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Raad POS will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.
Subscriptions and Payments
3.1 Freemium Model
Raad POS offers a free version with limited features to help you get started:
- Limited product count in your inventory
- Basic reporting and analytics
- Essential POS functionality
We reserve the right to modify the limitations of the free plan at any time with reasonable notice.
3.2 Raad PRO Subscription
Access to premium features requires a paid subscription (Raad PRO), which includes:
Advanced Reports and Analytics
Comprehensive Debt Management System
Unlimited Products in Inventory
Multi-user Access and Staff Management
Priority Customer Support
Advanced Tax Configuration Options
Billing Terms
Billing Cycle: Subscription fees are billed on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.
Payment Methods: We accept payments via:
- Waafi (EVC Plus) for local Somali transactions
- Major credit and debit cards via Stripe
Automatic Renewal
Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You will be charged for the renewal unless you cancel in advance.
3.3 Refund Policy
Payments are generally non-refundable. However:
- If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing cycle
- No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods
- In exceptional circumstances, refunds may be considered at our sole discretion
Offline Data and Syncing
Raad POS is designed to work seamlessly in offline mode, ensuring your business never stops.
How Offline Mode Works
Data recorded while offline is stored locally on your device
Data automatically syncs to our cloud servers (Supabase) when internet connection is restored
All your transactions remain accessible even without internet
Important Data Sync Warnings
Device Loss: If you lose your device or uninstall the app before connecting to the internet, any unsynced data may be permanently lost.
Data Responsibility: Raad POS is not liable for data lost due to device failure, theft, damage, or failure to sync.
Best Practice: We strongly recommend connecting to the internet regularly to ensure your data is backed up to the cloud.
User Responsibilities
5.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service responsibly and lawfully. Specifically, you agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or illegal activity
- Use the Service for the sale of illegal goods or services
- Violate any local, state, national, or international laws
- Attempt to hack, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to the Service
- Use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Interfere with other users' access to the Service
You must comply with all local laws and regulations regarding your business operations, including but not limited to licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and consumer protection laws.
5.2 Tax Compliance
Raad POS provides tools to help calculate sales tax for your transactions. However:
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for configuring the correct tax rates in the system
Tax Declaration: You are responsible for declaring and paying all applicable taxes to the relevant government authorities
Not Tax Advice: Raad POS is not a tax advisor and does not provide tax advice. Consult a qualified tax professional for tax-related questions.
5.3 Debt Management
The "Debt/Credit" feature is a record-keeping tool designed to help you track customer debts and credits.
Important Limitations:
- Raad POS is not responsible for collecting debts on your behalf
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of debt records if users enter incorrect data
- You are responsible for following up with customers on outstanding debts
- Raad POS does not provide legal advice regarding debt collection
Intellectual Property
The Service and all of its original content, features, and functionality are the exclusive property of Raad POS Technologies.
Source Code: All software, source code, and algorithms are proprietary
Design Elements: All design elements, graphics, and user interface are protected
Trademarks: "Raad," "Raad POS," and associated logos are our registered trademarks
Your License
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your business operations. This license does not permit you to:
- Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Service to others
- Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Breach of these Terms of Use
Fraudulent activity or misuse of the Service
Violation of applicable laws or regulations
Extended periods of inactivity
Non-payment of subscription fees
Effects of Termination
Upon termination of your account:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
- You will lose access to all data stored in the cloud
- Any outstanding subscription fees will remain payable
- We may, at our discretion, delete your account data after 30 days
Your Right to Terminate: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team or using the account deletion feature in the app.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Raad POS and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Loss of profits or revenue
Data loss or corruption
Business interruption
Loss of business opportunities
Loss of goodwill or reputation
Service Availability
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties or guarantees regarding:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
- The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content or data
- The security of the Service or protection against cyberattacks
- The correction of defects or errors in the Service
Maximum Liability
In no event shall our total liability to you for all damages exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Somalia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service:
- The parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through good faith negotiations
- If negotiations fail, the dispute may be submitted to mediation
- Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Mogadishu, Somalia
By using the Service, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mogadishu, Somalia for the resolution of any disputes.
